Visual Alignment

Notice that there is a groove in the Top Blind to use for alignment with your target. Use this to align the QuietStroke device to your target and your putter to the device.

If you would like to make this more visible, you can use the included stickers. Choose either a line to apply along the length of the groove or a dot placed on the forward end of the guide.

Experiment with and without highlighting the Alignment Guide to determine your preference.

Assembly & Setup “C” Configuration

Right Handed Set Up
Your QuietStroke training device comes assembled for right-handed golfers. Just unfold and you're ready to go.

Left Handed Set Up

  1. Unfold your QuietStroke device and remove the Top Blind Flip it over so that the side marked "LEFT" is facing up and snap it Left-Handed securely into place.
  2. Remove the Bottom Platform and replace it with the included "Left-Hand Platform" and snap it securely into place.

“Z” Configuration

The “Z” configuration can be used for putting or short chipping. To position in the “Z” configuration, simply fold the Bottom Platform to the back.

  1. Follow the guide inscribed on the Plate to lock it securely into place for stability.
  2. On uneven, hard surfaces, place a golf ball in the dimple on the Bottom Platform for counterbalance.

QuietStroke is designed to be reestanding, but on natural grass you can use one or two tees placed in the Tee Anchors to secure the device.

Putting Practice

  1. Unfold QuietStroke to the "C" configuration.
  2. Set the device on the green aligned to your target.
  3. Place a ball in the Ball Catch
  4. Set your putter down behind the ball with the alignment lines on your putter and QuietStroke lined up or parallel to each other.
  5. You should not be able to see the ball. If your particular putter or putting stance allows you to see some of the ball, don’t worry—just focus on the alignment.
  6. Start practicing, focusing only on making a smooth stroke and feeling the line and speed of the putt.

Practice with QuietStroke as often as you can to reinforce the feel of calmness as you stroke the ball.

TIP
To use QuietStroke in conjunction with other stroke path trainers (such as a putting mirror), set up the devicein the "Z" configuration.

Short Chipping

For steps 1 through 5, refer to the features sections for reference.

  1. Unfold QuietStroke to the "Z" position.
The platform has a guide to show you how to slide and lock it into place for stability.
  2. Align the device with your target.
  3. Place a ball under the Top Blind centered under the Alignment Guide (you should not see the ball).
  4. Use tees or a ball to help balance the device as described on page 5.
  5. Practice short chip shots focusing only on making a smooth stroke and feeling the line and distance of the chip.

Warning: Use only for practicing short chips and be careful not to hit QuietStroke with your club. Breakage due to striking the device with your club is not covered under warranty.

Now that you've trained your stroke and are consistently sending the ball on the correct path at the ideal pace, there are a couple of ways you can trust your newly trained QuietStroke skills and apply the concept to your game:

After aligning your putt, close your eyes and stroke the putt. OR Simply focus on a spot four to six inches ahead of the ball and stroke the putt.

If you've read the green correctly, your short chips will land closer to the pin, your putts will drop and you're on your way to mastering your short game.
